Summer Wedding at the Salt Lake City Temple // The Hallmans

maddieclaire

Summer weddings are always so beautiful! Everything is green, the colors are vibrant, and summer months are just so happy! Jordan and Joseph’s wedding day was no exception.

These two were married and sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. This temple is so gorgeous!! When they told me this was where they would be sealed, I was so excited to shoot there again! It’s definitely one of my favorites.

Walking out of the temple, the newly married couple was greeted by all their family and friends. Their bridal party was so fun and energetic! Taking group photos of them was effortless since they were all so easy going!

The reception was at a venue called This is the Place Heritage Park. It was absolutely stunning! Wreaths hung from the ceiling, bridal photos were displayed between each pillar, and flowers decorated every table. They had so many things to make the reception fun for everyone! Inside there was a donut wall, soda bar, and taco bar, and outside there were games for the kids to play. There were also little details to represent special things in their lives. One of these was little Japanese candies and chopsticks on the tables since Jordan served her mission in Japan.

The reception was a blast! There were get to know the couple games, toasts, big entrances from the bridal party, and LOTS of dancing! At the end of the night, a fancy white convertible met the newlyweds after they walked through lots of bubbles and waving friends. Together they drove off into the summer sunset . . . Such a dreamy day!!

I asked Jordan later on what advice she had for future brides planning their weddings. She said to let the small things go because on the day of you won’t even notice. Just try and have fun and soak up every minute of it!
